Vestil Dock Shelters are used with doors up to 10' wide x 10' high. These dock shelters reduce oversized doors to match truck trailer openings. Long wear fabric is used in these dock shelters which is highly resistant to tearing and any abrasion. Fiberglass pieces are sewn into the flaps which are on the face of the vertical side members. A seal is formed along the sides and top of trailer or container when the vertical and top panels are pushed inward by the trailer. It is recommended that a minimum of 10" trailer penetration for a good seal. The dock shelter supporting structure is made of 2 x 4 wolmanized lumber. The top header piece is 11'-0" wide and it contains a drop curtain of 3'-0" high. The two vertical pieces are 10'-6" high with vertical flaps of 21" wide. When the dock shelter is installed, it will close the door opening down to 7'-6" wide by 7'-6" high, which is between flaps. These units include two yellow steel guide protectors and foam filled corner pads for an extra sealing action. Units are non-returnable so measure carefully and pay attention to details.
