Guide to Selecting the Right Pallet Rack:

1. Frame Capacity: Calculate the total weight of all pallets per bay, excluding those on the floor.

2. Height: Measure the combined height of the pallet, load, and beam. Add 4" clearance between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. Ensure the top beam is at least 6" lower than the forklift's maximum lifting height.

3. Depth: The pallet should overhang the frame by 3" on both sides. For a 48" pallet, use a 42" deep frame. Deduct 6" from the pallet depth for proper fit.

4. Width: Measure the pallet's width and add a minimum of 3" for pallet-to-frame clearance, plus 4" between pallets. Ensure each beam pair can support the weight of the pallets on each level. Add-on sections require only one extra frame and the necessary number of beams.
