How to Select Your Pallet Rack

1. Frame Capacity: Calculate the total weight of pallets in each bay, excluding those on the floor.

2. Height: Include pallet height, load height, and beam height, with a 4" clearance above the load. The top beam should be at least 6" lower than your forklift's maximum lifting height.

3. Depth: Pallets should overhang by 3" on each side. Subtract 6" from the pallet depth to determine the frame depth.

4. Width: Add 3" clearance between the pallet and frame, and 4" between pallets to find the beam length. Ensure each beam pair supports the pallet weight.
