Guide to Selecting Your Pallet Rack

1. Frame Capacity: Calculate the total weight of all pallets per bay (excluding floor pallets).

2. Height: Measure total vertical height, including pallet, load, and beam height. Ensure 4" clearance between load top and beam above, with the top beam at least 6" lower than your forklift's max lifting height.

3. Depth: Pallets should overhang the frame by 3" front and back. Subtract 6" from the pallet depth to determine frame depth.

4. Width: Add 3" clearance from pallet to frame and 4" between pallets to find the correct beam length. Each beam pair must support the weight per level. Add-on sections need only one additional frame and beams.
