Guide to Selecting Your Pallet Rack:

1. Frame Capacity: Calculate the total weight of all pallets per bay, excluding those on the floor.
2. Height: Include the pallet, load, and beam height, adding 4" clearance. Ensure the top beam is at least 6" lower than your forklift's maximum lift height.
3. Depth: Pallets should overhang the frame by 3" on both sides. For a 48" pallet, use a 42" deep frame.
4. Width: Add 3" pallet-to-frame clearance and 4" between pallets. Beam length must support the total pallet weight per level.
