Vestil Plastic and Fiber Drum Adapters and Upgrades are engineered to provide sturdy support and secure handling for plastic, fiber, and steel drums in industrial settings. Each adapter is specifically designed to enhance drum safety during loading, unloading, and transport processes, ensuring optimal stability for drums with varying diameters and heights. Compatible with a range of Vestil models, including HDC-305, DCR-205, DCR-110, and DCT units, these adapters offer flexible and secure solutions for handling 30- and 55-gallon drums.
The FDA-800 model includes an adjustable arm (FDA-550) and a high-strength nylon strap (FDA-250), enabling it to support drums measuring between 12” and 22” in diameter and 28” to 36” in height. This setup is ideal for applications where steel, plastic, or fiber drums require additional security for safe movement. For targeted uses, the FDA-550 adapter assists with the safe lifting of 30- and 55-gallon fiber and plastic drums and provides reliable support as an integral part of the assembly.
Additionally, the FDA-800 model, tailored for 30- and 55-gallon drums, comes with the FDA-250 nylon strap, offering enhanced stability during drum transport. Please note that these adapters, including the FDA-550 and FDA-800 models, must be used in combination with specific Vestil equipment, such as the HDC-305-XX, HDC-450-XX, DCR-205-XX, DCR-110-XX, and DCT-XX units, to ensure secure and effective drum handling.
For smaller applications, the FDC-30 adapter attaches to the inner rim of a drum saddle, allowing it to secure 30-gallon steel, fiber, or poly drums. When used with fiber or poly drums, the FDC-30 adapter must be paired with either the FDA-550 or FDA-800 models to provide the necessary stability.
