As illustrated the pallet separator will provide a space between the first pallet in a flow system and the balance of the pallets in the lane. When the first pallet is raised approximately six inches and removed the mechanism allows the lane of pallets to advance one position.
Removing the pallets in this manner prevents binding and product damage that can occur when the pallets are touching against each other and vertical interference is present.
The pallet separator can be used in virtually any size conveyor frame drilling the frame as shown. It is suggested that a roller brake be positioned as close to the separator mechanism as possible (near the front edge of pallet number two in the lane).
