How to Select Pallet Rack

1. Frame Capacity:
Calculate the total weight of all pallets per bay (excluding those on the floor).

2. Height:
Measure from the floor to the top of the pallet load. Add 4" clearance and ensure the top beam is at least 6" below your forklift's maximum lift height.

3. Depth:
Pallets should overhang by 3" on both sides. For example, use a 42" frame for a 48" pallet. Ensure pallets are in good condition.

4. Width:
Add 3" clearance between the pallet and frame, and 4" between pallets. Beams must support pallet weight per level. Only one extra frame is needed for add-on sections.
