How to Choose the Right Pallet Rack:

Frame Capacity: Add up the weight of all pallets per bay (excluding those on the floor).

Height: Measure the total height including pallet, load, and beam, and add 4” clearance between the load and the beam above. Ensure the top beam is 6” below the forklift’s maximum lifting height.

Depth: Choose a frame 6” less than pallet depth (48" pallet needs a 42" frame). Pallets should be in good condition.

Width: Account for 3” clearance between pallet and frame and 4” between pallets. Ensure beam pairs support pallet weight at each level.
