Unlike traditional accumulation conveyors, the Smart Zone design features retroreflective photo eyes powered by a 24V DC supply with 110V AC input, eliminating the need for sensor rollers. This innovation allows the conveyor to handle even lightweight items with no minimum weight restrictions, making it a versatile solution for diverse product flows.

Equipped with 1.9" dia. x 16-gauge steel tread and pressure rollers, a 6" wide PVC belt, and a crowned drive pulley, this conveyor is engineered for long-lasting performance. Zone lengths are 2 feet each, with an additional 1 foot of live roller on each end to ensure smooth transfers. Pneumatic actuation is used for zone control, with a maximum air pressure of 30 PSI.

The conveyor runs at a constant 60 FPM speed, powered by a 1/2 HP Super "E" motor, and uses heavy-duty roller chains (No. 50 or No. 60 depending on drive size). Its 12-gauge channel frame includes pop-out rollers for safety and squaring rods for accurate belt tracking. With modular construction, the SZ196ZPA can be quickly shipped, adapted, and expanded to fit your facility’s unique requirements.
