A spiked speed bump is an easy way to control the movement of traffic, while deterring vehicles from entering and exiting in the same lane. With a retractable spiked design, the speed bump allows traffic to flow only in a single direction. When the vehicle enters in the correct direction the spikes will submerge into the construction of the bump allowing the vehicle to pass unobstructed. If the vehicle were to exit using the same lane, the spikes will not retract but continue to stand tall.
- Connectible to additional spiked speed bumps
- Galvanized spikes
- Crossable at a maximum of 5 MPH
- Tires must pass over parallel to the spikes
- Yellow End Caps (TSPIKE-EC) sold in pairs. An end cap provides an effective finish to either side of the spiked speed bump. By fitting directly to an existing spiked speed bump, the previously open ends are shored up and contained.
- Caps are constructed of steel.
