Semi-Live Skids offer a safe and stable alternative to platform trucks, by allowing the user to easily move them from location to location, while providing a stable base when stationary. Semi-live skids are available in all-wood or wood/steel combinations and are used to haul a wide variety of items. Skids are commonly used in large dairies, warehouses and heavy manufacturing environments.
Features:
SERIES 23-001 (All Wood Construction) – FOR USE WITH SERIES 15-002 AND 15-004 JACK:
- Deck of lengthwise 1" domestic hardwood stock, sanded and sealed
- Steel legs and rigid forksides are welded to steel angles bolted through the deck
- Rubber mold-on wheels, hardened roller bearings and zerk fittings for lubrication
- Front retaining lip restrains loads and keeps stacked skid from sliding
- Jack pin, 1" in diameter and 1-3/4" long, is 6-1/4" from floor
SERIES 23-002 (All Wood Construction) – FOR USE WITH 15-001 JACK:
- Unsealed 1" domestic hardwood stock deck
- Front retaining lip restrains loads and keeps stacked skid from sliding
- Steel legs are welded to steel angles which are bolted through deck
- Rigid casters are bolted through cross member and deck
- Rubber mold-on wheels have hardened roller bearings and zerk fittings for lubrication
- Steel engagement eye 7-1/4" from floor
SERIES 24-001 (Wood and Steel Construction) – FOR USE WITH 15-002 AND 15-004 JACK:
- Decks are replaceable 1" domestic hardwood stock, sanded and sealed
- Steel legs and angle braces are welded to frame
- Steel angle frames are welded into one strong unit
- Jack pin, 1” in diameter and 1-3/4" long, is 6-1/4" from floor with 8" wheels, and 7-1/4" with 10" wheel
