How to Choose the Right Pallet Rack

1. Frame Capacity: Calculate the total weight of pallets per bay, excluding floor pallets.
2. Height: Add the pallet, load, and beam height, with 4" clearance. Ensure the top beam is 6" below forklift's max height.
3. Depth: Pallets should overhang by 3" front and back. Subtract 6" from pallet depth.
4. Width: Add 3" pallet-to-frame clearance and 4" between pallets to determine beam length. Beams must support pallet weight per level. Add-ons need only one additional frame.
