The Morse Model 82A-127 is a Mobile-Karrier/Pourer designed for efficient handling of standard 55-gallon (210-liter) steel drums. It features an AC-powered drum lift with a single-phase 50Hz motor, making it suitable for regions with a 50Hz power supply. Operators can manually rotate the drum 360° in either direction for controlled pouring operations.
This drum handler is ideal for industries requiring reliable and ergonomic drum handling solutions, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Optional accessories are available to enhance the versatility of the 82A-127, including top rim clamps or brackets to prevent plastic or fiber drums from slipping lengthwise and diameter adapters for handling smaller drums.
- AC-Powered Drum Lift: Equipped with a single-phase 50Hz AC motor for powered drum lifting. Operators use a switch to raise the drum and a manual release valve to lower it. Note: The unit ships without a switch, cord, or plug; installation should be performed by a qualified electrician according to local codes.
- Manual Drum Tilt: Allows manual tilting of the drum 360° in either direction for controlled pouring. Tilt locks can hold the drum in a horizontal position for dispensing or upright for transport.
- V-Shaped Base: Designed to straddle pallets up to 41 inches (104 cm) wide and 7 inches (18 cm) high, providing access to the corners of pallets and enhancing stability with a built-in counterweight.
