The Morse Model 186 Adjusto-Karrier is a versatile below-hook drum handler designed to lift, rotate, and pour drums ranging from 15 to 23 inches in diameter, with a maximum capacity of 500 pounds. It is suitable for both steel and fiber drums but is not recommended for plastic drums.
This drum handler is ideal for industries requiring safe and efficient overhead lifting and pouring of various drum sizes. Optional accessories include a 9-inch hand crank (model X02-186) or a 16-inch hand wheel (model X03-186) to replace the standard pull chain for drum tilt control, and the MORStop Tilt-Brake (model 3900I-P) for automatically holding the drum tilt angle until adjusted.
- Adjustable Grip: Equipped with rubber-faced grip pads that are tightened using a hand crank, allowing secure handling of drums with diameters between 15 and 23 inches.
- 360-Degree Rotation: Enables complete 360-degree drum rotation in either direction, facilitating precise pouring and dispensing.
- Pull Chain Control: Features a pull chain with a 30:1 gear and sprocket ratio, providing controlled drum tilting during lifting operations.
- Load Tested: Each unit is individually load tested at 125% of its rated capacity and includes a load test certificate, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Capacity: 500 lbs (227 kg) for full drums; 250 lbs (113.5 kg) for half-full drums
- Drum Compatibility: Adjustable for drum diameters from 15" to 23" (38.1 to 58.4 cm); suitable for steel or fiber drums
